Current Practices of Graduate Enrollment Departments
The Graduate Program Marketing and Recruitment Practices Report, is the result of a comprehensive review of current graduate program marketing and enrollment management practices. The report, produced by EducationDynamics, in association with NAGAP, details the findings of a survey of over 100 graduate programs from colleges and universities across the country.
The survey of NAGAP membership was conducted in January and February 2020. Respondents represented a wide variety of colleges and universities, primarily public and private not-for-profit institutions. Graduate enrollment at the responding institutions ranged in size from under 1,000 to over 12,000, with most schools enrolling between 1,000 and 9,000 graduate students. We asked a series of questions about the school's current marketing practices and gathered input on how they engage prospective students upon capturing their request for information. This report identified a number of opportunities for the membership of NAGAP to improve their marketing and recruitment practices to better align their practices with student demand and preferences.
